1.0 FTE Summer Student

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Summer Students to join our team for a rewarding learning opportunity. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a professional clinical environment, providing an excellent platform for students to develop skills, gain industry insight, and contribute to meaningful projects. The Summer Student role is ideal for individuals with an interest in health care or administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinic administration duties such as patient check in or answering phones
• Contribute to team meetings by providing fresh perspectives and ideas
• Support administrative functions such as filing, document digitization and scheduling
• work shoulder to shoulder with employees with a passion for health care
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold professional standards at all times

Experience

• Currently enrolled in high school, college, or university programs related to the field of work
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning new concepts and taking initiative
• Prior experience is not required but is considered a plus
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to speak French considered an asset

Eligibility

• Applicants need to be aged between 15 and 30 years old at the start of the job
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
• International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.
